  I was a little put off by the 2star rating on letsbookhotel.com for the accommodation as with business, we use the Premier Inn as a basis for comparison which are typically 3 star. There is no way this hotel is a 2 star, it is definitely on par if not better than Premier Inn standard. The rooms I found to be way above what I expected, very spacious, comfy bed, extra pillows - I arrived late Sunday (plenty of free parking available) to a friendly welcome and asked for an iron and ironing board which was instantly produced. Good service. Nice spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed. The free wifi was a big plus and enabled me to send an important email before sleeping. Excellent cooked breakfast. No problems with checking in or out and nice friendly farewell. Sorry that business meant I could not stay any longer but hope to be back next time for leisure purposes.

  From the booking in to the checking out the staff are superb and the whole establishment is run with an eye to perfect detail. The rooms are modern and very high spec with all the facilities you may require. The restaurant is fabulous for an evening meal and the breakfast in the morning was the best we have had in any hotel. The produce was local... vad folk säger » and the flavour and freshness of the food was outstanding. We will certainly stay again when we visit the Cotswolds. Fantastic value for money. - Very good location in terms of access to Oxford centre and country walks. The accommodation is excellent, the room and ensuite was exceptionally clean and well appointed. It is evident that the hotel is well maintained and a great deal of time/effort has been taken to ensure that it is of the highest standard. The food whas extraordinary good and The Bells have a great Chef. The staff are very, very, very friendly and made every effort to make our short stay an enjoyable one.

  Very nice room. Clean and comfortable. There were even bookshelves packed with books in the hall in case you wanted something to read. Nice touch! Location was great-short drive or bus ride to the main city. JRR Tolkien is buried in the cemetary across the street so that is a point of interest. Breakfast was adequate and nicely laid out. Not a very chatty person, but answered questions adequately. Very clean and everything expected provided. Location convenient for traveling and yet in a quiet surbub. I thoughtI was the only guest the way it was quiet till I discovered other guests at breakfast. Breakfast generous too.

  I liked everything. I have stayed in 5 different hotels over the summer and none of them were anywhere near the standard of the Remont. It was not plush or luxurious but a place where i felt immediately at home . The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was really, really good. Nothing fancy just good quality and beautifully cooked.   The nice lady (Susan or Sue?) who made breakfast was friendly and cooked fast. It felt like my mum was cooking breakfast for me which was lovely! (Quite different to having a buffet breakfast where you can't meet who has cooked the food.) The room and hallway etc smelt fresh. Generous with towels and pillows, excellent. TV had Freeview, great. - Derrick, Heather, and Clara were so kind and welcoming. My room was small, but snug and very comfortable. It was very clean! I loved the teapot and selection of drinks in my room. The refrigerator was very nice to have as well. I was there for one week and never dreaded coming home to Cotswold House.
