This beautiful B&B is 7 miles from Taunton in the tranquil Somerset countryside, yet only 3 miles from the A303 and 5.5 miles from the M5. Frog Street Farmhouse has retained original features including Jacobean panelling and it offers free WiFi in the rooms.
From 07:00 to 09:00, a full English breakfast is served. Frog Street uses the best local produce, including their own free range eggs, homemade preserves and breads. Vegetarian and continental options are also available. Dinner parties for 6 or more are available if pre-booked.
Each room is uniquely and elegantly decorated and each of them overlooks the gardens. All offer an en suite with free toiletries, a flat-screen satellite TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
In winter, guests can relax in the lounge, which has a log-burning fireplace, a selection of books and games, a Sky TV, and tea/coffee with homemade cake on arrival. During the warmer months, a secluded garden can be enjoyed.

This beautiful farmhouse is in a quiet village, surrounded by nature.
The owners Louise and David couldn't be friendlier; we sat with
David for a chat over tea and Louise's home-made cake when we
arrived and David booked us into a local restaurant for the evening
(although according to other guests' comments over breakfast in the
morning we probably should have eaten in!) We enjoyed the live music in
the local pub in the evening too, then we watched a film back in the

We liked everything about Frog Street Farmhouse. The welcome was warm, tea/coffee on arrival with delicious lemon drizzle cake. Our room was beautiful, full of character but understated, stylish decor, spotlessly clean with good tea/coffee facilities. The bed was exceptional.
We would recommend Frog Street to anyone, but you do need a car to get to a restaurant for dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants.
Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile...!!! Hope to visit again.....
Fabulous farmhouse B&B in the middle of the Somerset countryside. The B&B is in a fully renovated old stone building, with original country furniture, very comfortable bed, modern bathroom with retro touches. There is also a guest lounge with comfortable sofas, a fireplace and free wifi. The proprietors couldn't be more welcoming. Huge full English breakfast cooked to order is served at a communal table together with other guests. Highly recommended!.
Situated in a beautiful country location this historic building has been lovingly restored by it's owners. Immaculately clean and carefully furnished with style and comfort in mind. Our hosts provided a warm welcome with coffee with fresh cake on arrival in front of a warm fire. Delicious breakfast cooked to our specific liking, accomodating my vegetarian needs and the requirements of two small kids. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would love to return.

We chose the Farmhouse as we wished to break our journey to Cornwall
but we would return anytime we were in this part of the country.
A fabulous few days! The accommodation was by far the best set up we've ever had (Orchard Suite is perfect for any family; plus the roll top bath was amazing!) breakfast was delicious. Plus, Louise cooked us the most outstanding 4 course dinner (it was my birthday). All in all, we all had a fantastic 3 days. We will return!.
The B&B is fantastic, David and Lou the owners are a lovely hard working couple. The house is beautiful and I would love to go back and stay in one of the other rooms as they also look amazing. We stayed in the Willow room which was so pretty and just like the photos on their website.
Location was idyllic but a little more 'remote' than I expected. You really need a car and I didn't. I come down from Reading area to watch Somerset vs Australia at the county ground in Taunton and the cost of taxis to & from town each day was more than a little irritating.

It's a lovely farmhouse with welcoming and friendly owners, stylish rooms and beautiful surroundings. We have requested continental breakfast, it was tasty with plenty to choose from. We had a fantastic and restful stay! Highly recommended!.
The loo with the view in the Garden Room - you can watch the woodpeckers in the tree outside the window! Such a quiet and peaceful location. Extremely comfortable and beautifully presented rooms and excellent warm and friendly hosts.
Delightfully friendly and helpful hosts. The farmhouse is furnished to very high standards and is immaculate, with luxury linen, towels and toiletries. Extremely comfortable beds and excellent food. We will definitely recommend.
Dave and Linda were great hosts, the food was amazing especially the evening meal. We stayed in the snug which was like a home from home and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Staying again in September..
The Frog Street Farmhouse was very cozy and accommodating. Rooms were
warm and spotless. Breakfast was fantastic with eggs to order however
you wanted to cook them. My girls loved the dogs and horses!.
