  Beautiful building in a good location. Very friendly and helpful staff, almost felt like staying with family who look after you particularly well. - Superb hotel,staff and location, off road parking, excellent food, don't bother shopping about you wont find much better for the price.

  Good service,friendly staff and high quality standard of room with pleasant views, excellent breakfast and opulant reception rooms,very centrally located for main attractions of Harrogate town.   It was convenient for the two places we wanted to visit. We felt that whilst the hotel was basic the receptionist and the catering staff were first class and made our brief visit a good experience. Breakfast was good! - Nice large room everything was clean.   The staff at the Boars Head were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I was shown to my room rather than have it pointed out to me, which I thought was a nice touch. I changed room after the first night as I prefer access to a shower as well as a bath; they immediately moved me with no question. In a wonderful,picturesque location,an ideal base for exploring and shopping! Have stayed in many top hotels and the attention to detail in The Boars Head is excellent! On arriving home I realised I had left my phone charger in the hotel room,and after speaking to the receptionist,my charger arrived through the post 2 days later.Excellent service!

  Well located to the old town and all attractions (10 minute walk). Good comfortable bed, we had a room with ensuite bathroom, some don’t! The tea/coffee tray had a well-supplied great selection.
