  The excellent service provided by the restaurant and bar staff, in particular, is a real asset. We found that they had a relaxed and helpful style. The breakfast buffet cart was amazing and I had never come across such a wide range of cooked breakfast choices. I particularly enjoyed my 'Eggs Benedict'. We enjoyed going for a s - The food, from breakfast to evening dinner, was fantastic. Staff were really friendly, helpful and down to earth. The hotel and surrounding area is lovely, a fine example of the Ribble Valley, and all it has to offer. Some really nice touches for the nature lovers who stay there, the "hide" near the forest (with promise of a courtesy flask and biscuits during the day and..... for a night spent watching the badgers.....A tot of whisky and a bacon butty to help you in the wee small hours!).
