A brilliant, family run business. I dont know why people was complaining on previous feedbacks??? Me and my syster planed 1 night but turnes out was so beautiful we stayed an other. Rooms are really clean and tidy. The house is up on a hill faar away from noises or disturbance. Yes the house has a shared toilet and bathroom but for 45 pound with lake-view in loch ness i cant complain! The house has a reading/ board gaming room absolute fab for relaxing. Didnt book any food there so i cant write.
alla recensioner » The lakeside view from our bedroom window was stunning. I also loved the cosy games room with a good stock of books, games and magazines. When we got back from our day's excursion my partner and I enjoyed a game of trivial pursuit. It was very clean and well-kept, with lovely decor in the bedroom. It's also great that there is a kitchen for you to cook. I also liked being left to my own devices. It's sometimes nice being left to do your own thing. Spotless rooms newly decorated. The main lounge etc has quirky touches look out for these we found them brilliant! This is a 'self service B+B' everything thing you need is explained and provided in the welcome pack....bring your own food ...fully equipped kitchen , don't expect to see any staff from check in to check out you are trusted to treat it all nicely. - Nice staff - Very nice view of Loch Ness from the terrace - Clean room - Nature in surrounding - amazing waterfalls 10min walk in the forest - Calm location in the forest - Very good price for such a good accomodation, do not be afraid of common bathroom, it is kept very clean. Beautiful view of the Loch Ness from the back patio. Self check in and self check out was a very nice system. Also, the friendly cat on the patio was a great addition to our stay! We loved it :). I liked the accomodation and the fact that one i was checked in I was able to use kitchen facilities to cook and then retire to my room for the night. No hastles at all. great place, self-catering worked well, great to have a kitchen available for guests, and the rood terrace really made it perfect!. location was brilliant for walkers ,the room was very nice with ensuite and the views from the window were beautiful. the location family atmosphere a huge kitchen to cook yourself a roof terrace overlooking Loch Ness. Loverly views of Loch Ness from the window. Nice clean comfy room. Privacy, clean, good location, nice room. everything!!. Good location. The view from our room. Nothing really. But maybe a small fridge in the room? Perfect for brake away :-). I suppose it was a shame that they don't offer breakfast as part of what you pay and that the cafe down the road is so expensive but if you want breakfast you can just bring it with you and cook it downstairs. Honesty every thing was good on a small note I did miss the hot water in the morning as I woke up late.piping hot in the evening though....B+B not hotel so be aware things do 'power down' in the day.to keep it budget friendly. - No breakfast option, but there is large Tesco 10min drive from the place. I woudl have preferred an on suite room but as this was a late booking the facilities on offer were more than adequate. if your not walkers there are limitations for what you can do everything seems to be on the other side of the loch. a bit used mattrasses. Shared bathroom and shower. The Sat Nav couldn't find it. Public areas are looking a bit shabby Room was not en-suite - which was only identified after the booking was made (I double checked and can confirm that prior to making your booking, this is not mentioned, not even buried in the small print) Shower was not hot in the evening (although I did manage to get a hot shower the following morning). We would have preferred more of a staff presence and toilet paper would have been appreciated. Apart from the view, EVERYTHING,also letsbookhotel.com were ridiculous to talk to and deal with our complaint.
