Overlooking the Fowey Estuary and set in 3 acres of grounds, YHA Golant offers accommodation on the southern coast of Cornwall a 15-minute drive from The Eden Project. With its own restaurant and bar, the hostel is a mile away from Golant village with its marina and pubs. The Georgian house has accommodation ranging from private twin rooms to dormitories, all with shared bathroom facilities. The common rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the peaceful gardens. YHA Golant has kitchen facilities, but those wishing to explore the local area will find many pubs and restaurants in Fowey and Par. Bodmin Moor is a 35-minute drive from the hostel, and guests are just 4 miles from the South West Coast Path. Cyclists can enjoy the nearby Camel Trail. The property is just under 45 minutes’ drive from both Truro to the East and Plymouth to the West.

Vad folk säger

This is a very friendly hostel. I stayed there for one night while on a cycling holiday and was given a very warm welcome. The hostel itself feels very remote as it's tucked away down a long track but It's only 6 or 7 miles from the Eden Project (nice bike routes to get there too!) and there's plenty of other things to see in the area. The building is old and some lovely features have been preserved. Sitting in the living room you feel like you're in a stately home.
