a big old Scottish hotel, which has been very well modernised. Delightful reception staff, comfortable room and bathroom with large bath and shower. Excellent location - train station, Aldi and Asda all within 5 minutes. Never got to sample trhe 102 malt whiskies in the bar unfortunately!

The location was very good and very easy to find. The facilities were clean and well kept, service was excellent. Restaurant in the hotel with excellent food and service. Breakfast was served at reasonable time and very good. Very close to all the Distillery's as this was the beginning of the "Whiskey Trail" thru Scotland with all the bigger D

We had booked 2 en suite hotel rooms and ended up having a flat (with living area, kitchen and 2 double bedrooms) at the same price. This was excellent as we had booked 2 double en-suite room for 2 couples. Loads of space. Breakfast was also excellent

The warm, friendly welcome from receptionist Sammi was just what we needed after a 5 hour journey. She was exceptionally pleasant and helpful.Room was spotless and comfortable. Food available right next door served excellent breakfast.. Sammi printed out directions to where we were going in Elgin and was extremely pleasant and helpful.
