Vad folk säger
Lovely quiet setting in tree lined street with excellent bus access to city, also within walking distance. Welcoming owners who provided us with a very comfortable, airy and tastefully decorated bedroom and en suite looking out onto mature trees. We were also provided with an excellent continental breakfast for a small extra charge each day which we ate at leisure in our room overlooking the trees, enjoying the antics of the resident grey squirrels. alla recensioner »
This is a magnifcent place to stay, clean friendly spacious, comfy bed, huge bath, ( that ran out of hot water) however is in a great location 5 mins drive from the centre, quiet relaxing and all round a fantastic place to stay and would highly recommend it.
The furniture and the decore of the room.
The location was central but
peaceful.
The price was good for the quality of the accomondation.
Friendly place to stay on a quiet street, close enough to town to walk.
the house was lovely,as was the breakfast.
Size of the room for the price was good.
Warm welcome and laid back atmosphere.
nice , friendly, helpful ,comfort.
lovely room clean.
Quiet location
Very helpful people
Comfy bed.
The fact the hot water ran out during a bath.
There was a lack of milk, tea and coffee available in the room.
Noisy floor beds and creaky bed- all part and parcel of a beautiful old house but not suitable if you are a light sleeper.
having to share a bathroom.
Small niggle. When I spoke to a lady (don't know name) she advised that as I didn't know the area she would send me an email advising where the nearest shops/restaurants were. This didn't happen - email would have been useful when first arriving to help get bearings.
Second small niggle - of the 5 days I stayed, on two occassions I returned to my room to find dirty cups. No big deal as I simply cleaned the cups myself however hmmmm.........shouldn't be the case.
Bath/shower requires non slip mat and stool step for ease of access.
Work not completed on restoration of en-suite. Simple things like lamp shades broken, lamps not working, milk supplied was out of date and curdled, towels worn and one even had a hole in it.
