  We got an amazing price from the website and were a bit nervous that the welcome would be a bit strained but this was not the case. The woman on reception was very friendly and approachable - though she hadn't been there long she was able to answer all our questions. Room 14 was a decent size and very warm. We loved the view to the sea and the single paned sash windows as they remind - We had a great time at the Lion Hotel. The room was quiet and comfortable with free wi-fi though this I think depends where your room is. They say it's only available in the public areas and make no claims for bedrooms! Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items. We also enjoyed two evening meals there with good home style dishes. The hotel is pleasantly situated in the centre of Criccieth and is a few minutes walk from the sea and the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

  The staff were helpful, polite and cheerful. The place was clean and my bedroom was very good and the provision of the room was good. There was provision for late night arrival and late night returns. Not really into the entertainment but the coach parties seemed happy enough with it. So as this seems to be the main type of guest they would cater ... vad folk säger » for them. The food was good and reasonable choice. TV etc was adequate although limited access, only one radio station. - Easy parking, nice staff, even if I arrived at 3 am. Comfy bed, nice and warm room, relatively newly decorated bathroom. All in all quite worth the money!
