I could not fault our stay, Carolyn the landlady was lovely and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast of a high standard. The facilities were good, and the views fantastic. A good base to explore Yorkshire from.
A friendly welcome, the cooked breakfast was lovely. It was nice to have fresh milk available for coffees/teas and the seating area downstairs was a nice place to relax in the evening when we came back from dinner.
Loved the friendliness of John and Carolyne. The B&B is a beautiful
little gem that I can only recommend. Noteworthy to mention the
excellent full English breakfast. Good value for money.
Really impressed, could not fault it, value for money, really nice hostess and nice place to stay. would take my family next time with out a doubt.
We liked everything, ideal location, clean, warm, friendly. Food was excellent. Carolyn was a perfect 'host' and we will recommend and use again.

Easy location - right there as we approached!
The welcome, comfortable beds, FRESH linen, great breakfast [especially the chestnut mushrooms].
Everything. Friendly welcome, well appointed and spotlessly clean room. Good breakfast. I loved my overnight stay at this guest house.
The location, the accommodation with excellent breakfast. The parking and free Wi-Fi. Good place for sightseeing and going places.
We loved how clean and cozy this B&B was. It felt more like home than a guest house. Lovely sunroom and the view.
An excellent B&B; comfortable room with first class en-suite and Carolyn was the perfect host.
Comfortable bed, super clean room and bathroom, lovely view, good breakfast, very friendly owner.

Everything , very nice clean and well run b&b.
liked the owner, welcome,breakfast,bed,en suite.
Small, friendly, welcoming, clean, location.
The friendly service and the breakfast.
great welcome nothing too much trouble.
Quiet sitting room.
It was delightful.
would of liked a double bed but thats just being picky as the plus's out weigh this by a long shot.
Well the weather was a bit iffy one day, but always come prepared is the motto.
My sat nav wanted us to stop in the previous village.
Nothing we really did not like, but I could recommend a larger bathroom/ensuite door as existing one doesn't shut enough for privacy, and spare corner in room would maybe benefit from a worktop/dressing table top to put things on with stool underneath and mirror above. Just an idea. Very small room, but lovely, will use again.
nothing to dislike.
The stairs were a bit steep especially for my wife who has suffered a stroke.
Nothing.
There was nothing not to like.
Nowhere to hang up a coat or a dress; no bed-side light.

Wardrobe outside room, no tea/coffee making facilities in room and no toiletries in bathroom, i.e soap, shower gel etc.

in the single room, it lacked a wardrobe, cos of space limitation i know, and i preferred the space in en suite, but would have been perfect if a magic wand could create enough space for storage.

on main road but our room was at the back.
Everything was fine.
