A really good B&B. We felt enormously welcome. The owners were very
happy for us to sit in their lovely garden drinking our wine before we
sauntered down into Conwy for some excellent fish and chips, which we
ate looking over the harbour. They also provide a sitting room and
conservatory for guest use so we were able to sit there in the evening
(it was a bit chilly by then to sit outside) sipping tea and drinks,
watching the sun go down on the mountain behind, with Worcester the cat
to keep. alla recensioner »
We had a warm and friendly welcome from Chris, who helped with suggestions on Conwy attractions and eating options. The guest house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a great breakfast. The location is only a leisurely 10 minute walk to the town and all local attractions. Chris' tip on Mt Conwy was spot-on, the view is just astounding.
The B&B as set in pleasant surroundinds just walking distance from Conway, just ten minutes or so.The walk to Conway was very pleasant. The good weather made the stay also a good experience.Chris, the owner of the B&B was very friendly and talkative and was always available if we needed help with anything.
we felt very welcome, janis and chris were very friendly and helpful and we walked in to the smell of freshly baked bread. lovely comfortable rooms, very clean and a lovely cooked breakfast. good location, within walking distance from conwy centre.
Absolutely delightful! Comfortable rooms, delicious food and friendly,
informative and interesting hosts who even provide you with their own
hand drawn map of the immediate surroundings. It was better than home.
Wish we could have stayed a week!.
The owners were very friendly and provided good information on where to eat and how to get around walking to Conwy and back to Whinward House. Breakfast was great and the company (other guest) was excellent.
Excellent reception, well looked after by the friendly hosts, who booked a table at nearby pub due to our late arrival, nice room and breakfast, will stay again if in the area.
Everything. Hospitality could not be bettered. Breakfasts were fantastic. Great location within easy walking distance to Conwy. Good pub food within 5 mins walk at the marina.
Enjoyed my stay with my husband on our first anniversary very much, will definately go again and highly recommend them in all aspects.
Comfortable, clean and friendly, great location for the surrounding countryside and Conwy itself. We would definately stay there again.

Really close to Conway town centre we struggled to find it at first but made it.
- Chris was a nice host
- The breakfast together with other guests.
The location and the very friendly helpful service provided.
Very friendly owners helpful in every regard.
Clean Bed and Breakfast in a quite location.
The courtesy of the owners.
Very homely.
Was nice to sit with other travellers for breakfast. The gardens are lovely. The owners are very welcoming.
We liked this B&B enormously but I would make the point (having read
the very few bad reviews) that this is definitely bed and breakfast in
someone’s – much loved and homely – home. It is not a hotel and if
you’re looking for the ambience, décor and experience of a hotel stay –
this is probably not for you.
I really cant think of anything during our trip to Conway that we did not like, it was just such a good short break. If anything put a dampener on it it was the showers later in the afternoon of our last day, but hey, this is the UK, it always rains here.
nothing.
The price was a bit more expensive than other good places where we stayed during the trip.
N/A.
Nothing at all.
Not a dislike but if you're looking for a fancy place, this isn't it. It's more like you're in a spare bedroom of a friend or family member. (which is something I rather liked!).
The TV was difficult to view from the bed.
Everything met my needs.
Winward House is a ten minute walk away from Conwy.
wish there had been fruit at breakfast.
Expensive for that type of b/b.
