The staff were all very friendly and attentive to our needs which included making up a packed lunch for a day walking in the surrounding fells. Would definitely stay here again - waking up to a fabulous view of the mountains from our bed in room 1, priceless.
Friendly welcome from the owner and a lovely room to spend the 3 nights that I did. Good, hearty breakfasts to set you up for a day on the fells - so much so I didnt need anything else until the evening. Parking is easy (midweek admittedly) and free on the road opposite. We enjoyed our stay here as it was convenient for Coniston Fells, Ambleside is near by and Bowness is a great little town to visit, plenty of shops and a gorgeous Lake. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and the full English was very nice to say the least. The staff were especially friendly and most helpful.
the whole weekend was very good.1st class room.very modern and shower room was especially well designed.the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly.the breakfast was very good and plentiful. the car parking was handy and the town and lake were near.for the price i would definately go there again,.
It was an all round pleasant experience staying here. clean, comfortable,friendly staff, great food an a peaceful stay. I can honestly say i found nothing negative in anyway about the stay an myself an my partner will be back for sure in the very near future. thx for a fantastic stay an experience.
perfect place to stay when visiting the Lakes District. Comfortable room, beautifully renovated bathroom, great food, highly supportive and friendly staff. The owner and staff were fantastically helpful and highly invested in our every need being met. I highly recommend the Lakeland House!!.
We loved the decor, the rooms and communal areas were decorated to a high standard. The room was lovely with a view of the mountains and the bed very comfy. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Plenty of parking right out side the hotel and very friendly staff.
Very helpful and friendly. Went out of there way to help. Best cooked breakfast for a long time. Light and airy. Lakeland House is in the town, but we still had great views of Coniston Old Man. It wais very quiet and peaceful, and we had the window open all night.
located in middle of village, within easy walking distance of pubs, for evening meals. we had a car but there was a bus stop just over the road with connecting routes available.Excellent breakfast, served promptly and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Had a lovely stay was made to feel very welcome. the lookout suite which we stayed in was excellent. the owners very friendly and served up a delightful breakfast. we will return as soon as we can.

Whilst our room was comfortable and clean, it was at the top of the house and it had sloping ceilings, any one above about 5 foot 6 may have an issue with head room!.
