  This hotel was very comfortable (room was a little bit dated though) and we liked being able to use the swimming pool and sauna. The location is great, as it feels like your in the countryside but your only 15 minutes drive from the centre of Cambridge. The location is perfect, it's right beside the river, very close to the main shopping area and the beautiful buildings of the University. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel.   Everything was 100% perfect for my stay. The staff were very attentive and helpful to my needs and requirements, the room was beautiful and very well equipped and the hotel in general was kept to an extremely high standard. The contemporary decor with the old style of the building worked extremely well and the room and facilities were excellent.   The owner, Chris, was extremely nice, friendly and helpful with whatever I needed, e.g. fixing immediately a window a bit hard to close, doing whatever he could to prepare an espresso (he did not have any in the house that morning so he went to get some from his own house). It only takes few minutes to the river and the center of the town. We hope to exprience the other rooms next time. My six years old daughter likes the hotel best during the 12 days' travel in UK.

  Tyst läge,bra service,trevligt bemötande. - Self check in was an excellent idea, and could not have been easier, asimple idea but a refreshing change from the usual limitations andrestrictions applied at other BandBs. The lounge was large and comfortable and the kitchen was available for guests to use (crockery for each room provided in separate locked cupboards). This is something I have not seen before. Also, it is not far from town - few minutes by car but it would be possible to walk it.
