Value for money family room. Room was clean. Being able to have a bath. Décor, soap provided. Good sized beds.
Lifts and corridors clean.
Breakfast was great.
Staff conscientious of asking if everything was ok. Staff rearranged rooms so we could be next to our friends.

Every employee was friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating.Prices were reasonable and rooms clean and relaxing.We had breakfast and dinner for the 3 days we stayed and the meals were excellent.My 1 yr old daughter has a severe milk allergy and you were able to provide us with a list of ingredients for certain foods assuring us that certain foods were milk-free.The best hotel experience received by us bar none.
The Hotel was a great relaxation for us.

Our reason for going to Bury was a visit to the East Lancs Railway and it would be a "theme " to add to your choices below.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The whole building had a fresh & airy smell and was very clean (which I'm fussy about!). Room was lovely, had everything I needed. Bathroom nice & clean, great shower. Handy for the tram via an underpass (which I noticed once I walked round the long way!).
The staff are warm and friendly and make the building feel like home.They make you feel like you are the only customer in the hotel.

The weekend we spent in Bury was very good. The hotel couldnt have been more central, but there was no hastle crossing busy roads because there was a subway right outside the hotel. The location was pretty much perfect.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms very well equipped. Restaurant lovely and great food. Breakfast fantastic. Parking easy. Had a young baby and child and hotel was perfect for this.

The whole place was immaculate and the staff were efficient,cooperative and friendly without being in your face.

Not able to sit down whilst in room unless on the bed. Would be better if I could of sat at the table to do hair and makeup.(need mirror over table.) Windows don't open enough. Offices opposite could see in the room, had to shut the curtains straight away, which made the room hot. As a smoker it would be good for you to provide rooms with a balcony or at least one at the end of your corridors. When it was late and I had to go outside the building I didn't feel very safe.

Because we are disabled - the buffet breakfast at the weekend was very
stressful.
The car parking is in a separate block and the cost is £5 per 24hours. (Hotel rate) Signage to the carpark access is also a little confusing. The positive side is that the carpark is secure and fully lit as a bonus. Rooms at the back overlook the railway, noisy with the window open.
No soap in dispensers over the bath.
Was not able to check in early. I had flown from the US arriving at the hotel early morning. Wanted to shower, shave and change to go in to work but they would not let me this time. I have done this 4-5 times in the past with no problem but not this time.
Depeding on your room the bk of the hotel the noise factor is a great problem to me, not so much the trams that run at the rear, more the noise all night long from i think the boiler or air conditioning plant the higher up it gets less. this not a one off i have stayed on a few occasions.the loction is the main reason i stay, other wise NOT.

It needs an undercover area for smokers, although not a smoker myself, I did see a few guests standin in the rain just to av a cig.
I did not like paying for the car parking which is attached and hence would deter me from travelling there again due to parking.

it is extremely unhelpful that on booking a disabalbed room to find we had to climb into the bath to have a shower which was impossible`.
cash macahine was not working so had to walk to find cash machine to pay for the parking ticket.

Room cold. No towels for second guest but was issued on mentioning it to staff. Although a Twin bedded room was requested and confirmed by a phone call before the event, no sheets pillow or blanket was supplied. overall just a fair rating which was below what was expected.
