  View from room was amazing. Owners went out of their way to help us when we asked for some information. Location was perfect for what we wanted but the walk in to the village is across a field so if staying in winterthen be aware of the need for a torch! - The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent.   The location is wonderful we were made welcome on arrival including our dog. We were a little surprised that dispite having paid a deposit we were asked to pay the full amount for our stay before seeing the accommodation . The room was delightful and larger than we expected. How ever the bed was a bit on the small side for a four star hotel. The d... vad folk säger » inning room was also a surprise wonderfully situated overlooking the river and filled with smart modern furniture. The food was most enjoyable cooked - Staff and partcularly Andy the Manager were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was superb and a fantastic place to recharge the batteries whilst taking in the extensive natural beauty in the immediate surroundings of the hotel.

  A great hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable and our king size bed was very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean. We ate in the main restaurant and the food was very good. It was also very reasonably priced. Jane, the restaurant manager, was a real star. Breakfast was also excellent. They were able to help me save money over the booking price. The restaurant served good food, drinks and wine with very pleasant and helpful staff.

  Friendly and helpful service. Good location to travel northern Wales. - Friendly staff, good food. The hotel (including our room) was clean, with good facilities. Would book again if passing that way on another occasion.
