The Old Vicarage - Bilder

Although situated in a small town, the Old Vicarage was a great base to explore the surrounding countryside. The house was very old and the decor has been kept to portray its era. This did not detract from its ambience or the breakfast. With mutliple choice of delicious dishes, you are sure to be well set up for the day. The hosts are the most friendly and helpful people you could wish to encounter and at the end of a busy day, where best to enjoy a glass of sherry or mead (provided free of ch. alla recensioner »
Everything about our stay at the old vicarage was delightfuk, from annettes welcome through to her farewell. This B&B is gem and we were sorry ti be staying only one night as it was so relaxing there. fabulous touches as well, such as the conplementry sherry, mead or damson wine! Breakfast was amazing and all sourced from the local area, we loved sitting at the breakfast table with the other couple that were staying as it made for a real social pleasant start to our day!.
Wonderful B&B. We stayed in a beautiful/tranquil room. Annette
and Kevin couldn't have been more welcoming, or helpful. Breakfast
was excellent, with wide range of interesting choices. The Old Vicarage
has been beautifully restored, it has an incredible sense of place,
although I put that down most to the hosts, who also offered great
advice on local sites, restaurants, and the like. Highly recommended.
Really friendly and helpful proprietors. lovely colourful garden with outdoor table and seats for guests to use. Superior breakfasts, among the best we've had in 7 weeks of B&Bs. Well-stocked library in a lovely comfortable lounge, for guest use. Library was very good for non-fiction (e.g. natural history, local history) and fiction. Interesting outlook from our room over the church grounds.
Anyone thinking of setting up a bed and breakfast should visit The Old Vicarage at Belford which is in a league of its own and way ahead of any other we have stayed in. Lovely location, lovely room furnished with antiques and oil paintings with lovely view. Use of charming sitting room and delightful garden. Very restful. Lovely, friendly owner and rare and unusual breakfasts on offer.
We had a lovely room in the Old Vicarage including leather sofa and flat screen television. Very comfortable bed and nice en suite bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with offers of kippers, kedgeree and various other culinary delights.
