I was up for a concert and without going through the city centre Balmoral was within walking distance.
Location was key and value.
Look of village.
Noriced a lot of overflowing bins and sacttered refuse.
But it didnt impact on our stay.
Very minor but shower temperature tepid.
No TV or Coffee making facilities in the room.
No breakfast on morning of 29th June.
Shower was too small, difficult to use. Had to ask for help on the first day to turn it on and off, was difficult to use as not enough space. Also the toilet was very noisy and took too long to refill, so had to wait too long to use it again. Also did not like that the restaurant was only open in the morning, no evening meal was available.
The rooms although clean were claustrophobic and cell like.
At £70 for 2 people they were overpriced, as normally in Belfast we get much better rates in central locations.
Apartment reeked of cigaret smoke, really badly. Door to apartment would not lock when closed. Bed clothes were not changed or made up for second night, and no fresh towels... Over all a bad expierance. I would not stay here again, or recommend it to anyone.
