  The room was excellent - cosy and clean with a marvellous sea view. The fish on the menu was really good and the breakfast choice extensive and very well prepared. Staff all very friendly and efficient. Despite the parking problems, the location is excellent: a genuine cliff top location with good views and only a short walk to the beach.   A lovely, well presented & maintained B&B situated in the heart of Beer. Ideal for spending a few days exploring the local area. Simon is very friendly & has an excellent knowledge of East Devon.Always willing to help & nothing is too much trouble. The Breakfasts were outstanding we would recommend Beer and especially the Belmont House for mini breaks and long holidays so much to see and do .   A really cosy, relaxing place to stay, a great alternative to the impersonal hotel chains. This place is immaculately decorated, and everything for a comfortable stay is included, i.e. Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Toiletries. Full English breakfast is cooked to order, a perfect start to the day.   The room we stayed in was, I think, the largest in the hotel and was very comfortable. Very nice bed linen and well chosen bathroom fittings. Plenty of hot water for showers and bath etc. Also, the room was never too hot, which hotel rooms often are. A good location for exploring the East Devon and Dorset coastline, which was the purpose of ou... vad folk säger » r visit. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. - The hotel was warm throughout, dispite the atrocious weather.Both the welcome and the atmosphere! We were staying three nights and ate in every evening and couldn't fault it. It was so nice to have proper sized bath sheets. Altogether very comfortable and we would stay again.
