A secluded detached country house B&B run by a senior cute gay couple (I assume, no offence), and their 12-year-old tabby cat named Amber. Breakfast cooked by the proprietors comes with sterling silver and Wedgwood service, and there's a lovely courtyard enclosed by lilies looking upon a church trancept. Rooms are decorated with collectibles gathered from all over the world, and you can also find in the house library a wall of invitation cards and photos, some of which are 60 years old. Lovely Georgian house which is a 20 minute walk into Bath benefiting from private parking and a beautiful garden. We stayed in the Indian room which was full of items collected in our hosts' travels. The breakfasts were superb enjoyed at a communal table with "proper" tea from silver teapots. A thoughtful touch was the Radio Times in each room if you had time to watch.T.V The Hollies proved to be in an ideal situation to visit Bath and the surrounding countryside
and was near a bus route which .
My wife and I had a long weekend at the Hollies and loved it. David and
Joe made us feel genuinely welcome. We stayed in the Chinese room which
is full of interesting little features. Breakfast was a good selection
of cereals, fruits, yoghurts and of course an excellent full English
Breakfast. I would definitely go back if I were to visit Bath again.
Nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely and warm in the house and room. Everything was done to make your stay easier. We were running in the Bath Half Marathon we had the breakfast we requested were able to leave our car and go back after the check out time to change with no extra cost.
The house was very charming with a lot of character...beautifully done! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and we were served a wonderful breakfast. Our room and en suite were very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Overall a great choice when going to Bath.
The accommodation has been warmly and tastefully decorated with the hosts own collection of beautiful objects, resulting in a most welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. the hosts are delightful and we were made to feel like old friends. A highlight of our trip.
David and Joe were very attentive and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Lots of interesting memorabelia around the house. Also must mention Amber the cat so sweet and well trained. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Good-sized room and bathroom with plenty of towel rails. Good choice of breakfast; home-made preserves. Friendly & informative owners. Interesting library and furniture. Ability to come and go freely. No children.
Full of history and memorabilia, the Hollies (with its lovely garden) is a delightful, and quite unique place to stay. A comfortable room, good breakfast and very welcoming, friendly hosts - what more could you want?.
Room was comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Location is close to the City but a good climb up the hill on the way home, however a good bus service is available. City of Bath is just amazing!!!.
Kind, genteel and warm welcome to a beautiful, individual and unique home. Charming, friendly and relaxed atmosphere within a fascinating, beautifully idiosyncratic setting. Unforgettable!.

Location was good - However, it is a good 20 min walk into Bath centre, but that suited us.
Reasonably accessible with well appointed rooms. Management very helpful and friendly.
Lovely room. Lovely hosts. First class breakfast. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in Bath.
Perfect hosts. Lovely garden. Excellent breakfast. Very unusual and interesting home.

Full marks for style, comfort, service and friendliness. Excellent breakfast.
Friendly and helpful owners.
A wonderful character hotel.
Recommended.
Welcoming hosts, beautiful house, excellent breakfast.
Friendly people, who really care about their guests.
Very good service and nice hosts great place to stay.
The English Bedroom.
Hot shower, large bathroom, garden, dining table and crockery and
silverware, location, bedroom had sheets and blanket rather than a doona.
The picture frames on the walls are definitely worth a read.
England was suffering heat wave at the time of our stay so it was a bit hard to fall asleep in a room without an air-conditioner.
Shower pressure wasn't always too high - but didn't cause any problems.
Blankets and sheets, not duvets, although realise duvets wouldn't fit in with antique furniture. Close proximity to main A road; traffic noise from bedroom.
Room was a bit small as we were in the middle of a two month holiday and had a fair bit of luggage. The shower pressure was a bit on the low side.
Weather.
Shower pressure was a little bit low, but at least the water was warm.
We hadn't realised the bathroom was across the corridor. Not really a problem!.
nothing .
A bit of a squeeze in the shower/WC en-suite [although very nicely fitted].
Fresh Milk was available if u ask, but would like milk in room for when u fancy a cuppa x.
We did not dislike anything.
Will be a little too far from central Bath for some.
Bit of a walk to town, but good buses and cheap taxis made it well worth it.
Some rooms a little small.
There was nothing I did not like.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Not any thing that we did not like.
Extremely hard to find, pokey (English) room, traffic noise, luggage had to
be left out on the landing.
