  to be honest everything. from first impressions a pretty hotel great decor lovely room.   We only stayed at this hotel overnight,but what a stay.The room was fantastic with its double shower,we did book a superior room,but due to a bad back and the stairs,the lady on reception put us in the executive suite at no extra cost, so thank you.And as for the food well we have stayed in many of the marriot and hilton hotels over the past couple... vad folk säger » of years,and the food at the edinburgh best A+ - Hotel staff - young, keen and extremely helpful. A change from the stuffy service elsewhere in Barrow. Services/Facilities - superb. Wireless internet, flat screen televisions, ultra trendy bathrooms, 24 hour room service etc etc. Cleanliness - spotlessly clean. Comfort - superb, beautiful bedrooms with leather sofas and super kingsize beds. Value for money - very good, not cheap but worth it.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff made us feel very comfortable and most welcome. A well presented, clean interior and room rich in historical authentic features. Impressive exterior with well kept grounds and pleasant garden. Excellent car parking. Although a slight problem was encountered on check-in due to a misunderstanding the manageme... vad folk säger » nt quickly rectified in excess of our expectations - the staff were very attentive, polite, always smiling!! even though they were very busy. Had a problem with the room, something "shorted" and the tv and some appliances went off but it was sorted out in less than 5 minutes.
