Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Hotel accommodated my request for a quiet room by putting me in a peaceful canal-facing room at the end of a higher floor. Room was clean, fairly large, comfortable, well-designed, all the amenities you might need. 24/7 ironing room and food service if needed, also a decent quiet family pub next door. A family hotel whose staff were amazingly helpful and attentive - even swapping us to a ground-floor room (due to a broken ankle) without needing to be asked and despite its being a family room rather than the twin we had booked! Delicious breakfast, with generous variety (both continental and cooked). Superb location for the universities - just across the road. Right on bus route for shopping or bus/coach/train stations. Yet a feeling of being in the country - "at home" in the country. Thank

We stayed in this hotel only for one night, because we had a late connection flight. The personal was excellent, the comfort of beds unforgetable, the cleaness of rooms very very good. Friendly staff on arrival, at breakfast and on exit. Only stayed here as Leeds city centre was fully booked and were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! Only 5 mins from the train station and centre of town. Spotlessly clean, everything available for breakfast even though we were one of the last to arrive the dining room. Overall, great place and would definitely stay again.

The welcome was great and the receptionist was very helpful, giving us a map, showing directions and telling us about 'extras', such as the Christmas market. We also liked the fact that TGI Fridays was attached(!) even though we didn't realise we could go straight through from the hotel! The breakfast was great and the room was comfortable - hoora

An amazing hotel. The staff are so lovely with the guests and, coupledwith the efficient service, make this the best hotel I have stayed in,in a long time. Stayed for Depeche Mode concert at the F.D Arena across the road, so the location was excellent.
the room was very clean and comfortable.
For anybody wanting to stay somewhere for events at the Leeds Arena, I couldn't recommend this highly enough.

The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. My daughter celebrated her birthday whilst we were staying at the hotel and the staff on duty were wonderful and made the evening special for her. The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel is in an excellent location. The flexibility of leaving the bags at the hotel on check-out day whilst we enjoyed some more time in Leeds was also appreciated.
