  The view was beautiful and the room was comfortable. The bathtub provided a much needed refuge for a bubble bath while travling around the UK on vacation from the States.   The crisp, clean room, very well equipped. Very modern but tasteful decor with seriously heavy quality furniture. Very comfortable bed. Light and airy roon. Big screen led TV with all the digi channels and a great breakfast with fresh fruit to pick from.Bathroom quite new and pristinely clean. Good shower and bath with plenty of hot water. Stayed for 2 nights using it as a base to travel across various towns from Aberdeen to Inverness. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable eating in the bar area. The staff were excellent and could no do enough to make you feel welcome & relaxed in this hotel. I would certainly recommend this to my friends & family.

  It was very friendly and welcoming on arrival. First impression was one of a very high standard of cleanliness and quality. It was quiet, extremely comfortable and had all one needed for a good night's rest prior to a very busy day. The bed was exceptionally comfortable too. Two of our party work within the travel industry for a large high end tour operator and are familiar with some of the most prestigious hotels in the world, neither of us could find a single fault with the Daviot Lodge. 6 star among guest houses - both in terms of the accommodation itself and the friendliness of the staff.
