  It is a very good example of a basic quality. Especially the cleanness of the rooms and hotel facilities impressed me. The location is unbelivable and the view is amazing worth everything. On - The dorm rooms and facilities are amazing with private curtains for the beds as well as some of the nicest bathrooms/showers I have ever seen in a hostel. It is centrally located in Sultanahmet or the old town of Istanbul that was formerly Constantinople. It is within walking distance to many of the historical attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topaki Palace.   A lot of thanks to staff!!! a lot, a lot!!! You helped me so much! I really recommend this hostel. Excellent location in the centre of the city. Cheap price for a single tourist. No noise. People write they wake up because of prayers in the early mornings. I slept and heard nothing (I closed the window)! Reception 24 hours (I arrive at 6.30am and... vad folk säger » could have a bath and breakfast). Good Internet. But you need to know it is really simple rooms!!! - I stayed for two nights and was on my own. The room was very small, about 2x2m2 but I didn't need it to be bigger. All I wanted was a place to sleep at night and leave my luggage during the day. There was a double bed in the room, with a very comfortable, hard mattress, a sink, a mirror and a TV. There was also very good wi-fi. It was quiet and clean. Centrally located, super cheap, friendly receptionist. Perfect for me.

  Nobel Hostel is in a choice location, near the Blue Mosque, in a quite area of tourist accommodations and restaurants. Our double was clean and bright (glass door to an unusable patio), though showing wear; the mattress too, was in need of replacement (springs collapsing). The room included a television and bath.   It was our second stay in Istanbul, and since we were not very happy with the first one, I was very careful choosing our accommodation. So for almost the same price we got MUCH, much better place which I can call even perfect comparing to the first one. Location was just excellent. Apartment was specious enough for four people coming to see Istanbul and spending most of the time outside. It was clean, n - Appartments are 2 minutes from blue mosque, aya sofia ,...and also tramway is 10 mn away . the area is safe and quite . it is surrounded by many mini markets , restaurants and coffeshops. I also enjoyed food and service at their( optimist) cafe .the appartment is clean and tidy. But the most important thing was the owners bahadir and mohamet and their staff especially ikut who were available at any time for any inqiuries or help.   The Antique hostel is located in the middle of old city Sultanahmet among great number of other small private hotels and hostels, but Antique offers a peacefull neighboroughood for good night sleep after spending whole day wondering around Istanbul.   I was really impressed the way hospitable and friendly the staff was. They helped us all the time, gave us the needed advice and were always polite. If we had to go to other city, - they showed us the way, if we had a problem, then they solved it easily.
