  This Galata Port Aparts is very nearly to Galata Bridge and Galata Tower. You can use to metro station and republic bus stattion is very close. Karaköy Boat station is very close too.   They offer a car service from the airport (for a fee). The Concierge/Reception are very friendly and try to accommodate any requests...ask for Ahmet, he's the best! They upgraded me to a suite without me even inquiring. They had cleaning staff come daily to tidy my apartment. (Note: Rooms Galata is located on a steep incline- which I loved for daily excerc - Me and my husband had an absolutely fantastic treat from the time we got to the hotel to the time we took off again. The atmosphere was super nice, quiet and comfortable and we felt at home from the very 1st second we entered the door where Emir welcomed us. We booked a rather large room so we enjoyed the spacy room.   We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. In summary, everything is excellent. - Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see. The hotel is in an historic building but it is fully renovated and the result is a mix of historic perspective and contemporary taste. Everyone is very nice and gentle . Perfect for couple

  I booked standart room and they upgrade my room to family suit and they didn't charge any extra! It was very nice I was at 4th floor I couldn't feel like I was at very busy istiklal street I feel like I am middle of nowhere it was so quite and very comfortable bed for sleep... I was here for business trip my friends was staying Asia side of istanbul and it is so hard to travel Asia side at late nights and the - Excellent location, Very friendly and welcoming staff. Thanks to Mr Suat who made me feel like home and became my friend. 1 min walk from the heart of city but on the quiet street so didnt have any problem sleeping. I strongly recomond this hotel who is visiting istanbul.

The staff was very friendly,helpful and with very prompt reply to my requests and each time I was asking for directions I got a map of Istanbul on which they were marking all the explanations. Location just 3 minutes from Taksim square. 40 minutes walking distance from Galata bridge by Istikal street. Room were nice, not that big but cozy.
