  The suite is a small apartment with a small kitchen opened on the living room. Much better than a classic hotel room if you intend to spend time in your room. Location is right on Taksim place, in front of Gezi park and Divan hotel. The location is just fabulous, close to all major sites. Little Haya Sofia is next to the hotel and was nice surprise for us. Lots of restaurants and cafes around, but the hotel is staying on small quite street, so this doesn’t bother you at all. Hotel is a nice place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff.

  We had a very pleasant stay at Corinne. The staff is extremelly nice and helpfull, the rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also very big with large windows, marble plated, floor heating and branded cosmetics (studio deluxe).   Cosy hotel with super friendly personal. Very helpful and really professional. We had a street view 403. Although the streets were very busy and noisy, you could close the windows and it was very quiet. Cenrally located, walking distance from the port and lots of restaurants. Few minutes per taxi to the Metreocity mall.   We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style.   The history: Agatha Christie wrote her [Murder on the Orient Express] at this hotel. There is a small exhibition area on the fourth floor about this and other historic moments. The elevator from 1895 can still run (though not always in use). They sell postcards and other souvenirs about the hotel at the front desk. Really a piece of history! The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!
