  The rooms at Tophane Aparts, are excellent and definitely above other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early after a long flight from SA.   Very pleasing apartments. People, location and interior. A safe, quiet and noiseless place, outskirts of the old part of Isrtanbul, close to sea embankment and fish market (2-3 minutes), next to Armenian church and patriarchate (the view from the window is just like here in booking, ask for N9), 10-15 min walk to Small Hagia Sophia (Kucuk Ayasofya... vad folk säger » Camii) and Sokollu Camii - both worth visiting, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. Comfortable and large rooms, large bathroom. If you want to save mon - Very good apartments. Clean rooms with new furniture: beds for adults and a child, wardrobe, table, chairs, etc. Kitchen corner, frige, gas cooker, cups, plates, and utensils.The apartmants are in the old part of Istanbul, 20-25 min walk to Hagia Sophia. 5 min to the sea embankment, a fish market and fish restaurants. Frendly personnel fluent in English and Russian (special thanks to Yildiz!). Very well for family tourism.

  Excellent staff ( Yildirim and Ofuk). The staff was supper nice. The owner, Aziz, was helpful and tried to help ASAP. Very close to Galata Tower and Galata bridge and to the Bosphoros.   We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. It is within walking distance to many of the historical attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topaki Palace.
