Pai Country has an excellent location, very nice rooms, the
balcony/porch for each room was an excellent plus. Good-sized
bathroom compared to other places we've stayed in se Asia. The air-
conditioning (for rooms that have it) was very effective, and the in-
room refrigerator was also great given its general scarcity in other budget-
friendly hotels in the region. The staff was nice, though it was a
little confusing who to talk to when we arrived since they were all

Nice balcony with mountains view. Large bed, fridge and clean bathroom with a real shower.

Well situated in the center of Pai, near restaurants and 20m from the 7/11.
PCH has also a restaurant with a very large choice of very good and big smoothies!.
Rooms are very nice and clean. Very central location - if you arrive by bus from Chiang May, you can walk to the hotel in less than 5 minutes. The restaurant has great choice of breakfasts and dinner meals. It closes quite early, so it's not noisy at night.
This place was definitely value for money. Very clean, comfortable and great location. Nice big bathroom. Our room was on the first floor by the chicken coop but we did not smell anything-it was fine.
The location is really good, i would say the best! the boss is very nice, the condition is much better than i expected. It was a very nice place and i recommend it to all of you to stay there.

Staff was friendly.
See the note about distracted staff at check-in. The bathroom door was
also off-set so it was difficult to close it completely but that is
hardly a significant problem. Overall, it was a great experience.
I had a fan room, a little bit hot inside.

Our shower drain clogged so there was water all over the bathroom floor. Pai is nice BUT be careful with eating on the street-I got really sick and spoke to a few backpackers afterwards who said it happens often in Pai.

My ground floor room was facing the neighbour's chicken coop. So the chicken dung aroma sometimes get to you.
There was chicken farm next to Pai Country House -defo not scenic view.
The shower in our room was cold.
The restaurant closes very early. Before 6 pm. Also, be sure you refer to it as "Pai Country" to the locals, they don't actually know what "Pai Country House" is.

stairs to upstairs rooms could be a challenge to anyone with mobility issues. not the place to meet other travellers, no communal guest area.
There is a chicken farm directly in front of the rooms. that means that starting at 2 or 3 am there are two or more roosters that will make sure you can hear them.
