  Right at the beach. Breakfast was good as well. It's a quiet place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a big resort, filled with almost exclusively Swedish families who are obviously staying here for awhile.   The bungalows are fantastic and if you ask for it you can get one with sea views. This is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay by the beach, the bit right by the complex has a bit of rocks in there but you can get to a place without rocks in 2 minutes. Within Marina Lanta resort there is Marina restaurant, the couple who runs it is just amazing, and the food is really simple, cheap - We stayed in 6 different hotels in Thailand! This was by far the best. Booked for 1 night stayed for 5! Stunning Bungalows, with a hammock on the balcony near the Beach, I read a review sating it was to far from a nice beach which is crazy! Your on the beach front in Minutes. Yes you had the odd lizard in your room but its all part of the Charm and for the Price you cant really complain. The Manager was amazing! She was so helpful anything we needed she sorted it out instantly, I have never met

  Coco Lanta is a wonderful and relaxing resort. It is well situated on the northern part of Klong Khong Beach. There are several Mini Marts and a 7-Eleven in walking distance. Coco Lanta's Bar/Restaurant is excellent and there are many good eateries on the main road. Our favorite was Kwan's (great food in a family-like setting). G - Very new, nice and clean room/bungalow with a good bed. Loved the small terrace with hammock in front of the bungalow. The restaurant, where also breakfast is served, is just next to the sea (at least at high tide). Nice swimming pool. Overall the hotel is just beautiful. Good location at Khlong Kong beach with great restaurants and most creative beach bars (beautifully illuminated at night and you get to them by just walking along the beach starting from the hotel.   The rooms were fantastic and had alot of privacy. We had the standard chalet with a garden view which had a balcony also. The staff were so helpful and friendly and offered their advice before we went on trips.There was a variety for breakfast to choose from and the main meals were brilliant! The wifi was great and we even got our laundry done whi - This hotel was very good in terms of staff, facilities, cleanliness, comfort, value for money and location, The two elderly ladies who were probably the owners were very courteous and kept track of all the guests personally on a daily basis during our stay. Though the in-house restaurant was closed during our stay we did enjoy a good breakfast every morning, which was included in the tariff. The staff also helped us with information on and booking of local tours and hiring scooters.
