  Ambience, cleaniness, friendliness of staff - Its location was excellent and although garage parking was available at a cost the staff assisted by moving our car into free street parking and we had no hassles at all.

  The welcome was perfect, we arrived by car and parked as close to the hotel as possible - after checking in at reception I was escorted to the underground parking garage and took my car down in a lift to the secure parking area. We stayed in a good sized executive room which had free WiFi and had been recently refurbished, and there was a massive ... vad folk säger » king sized bed that was very comfortable and a fridge and a nice flat screen tv with lots of channels. We asked for extra pillows and got them immedia - The rooms in the Alexander had been done to a very good standard for a small hotel. The breakfast room was small but very clean, the food was lovely with lots of selection and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for a the major sites of the city and was right in the heart of a lively area with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. It was also only a ten minute walk from the station and transportation links. Overall i would definitely recommend this hote

  Excellent location; very efficient, warm and friendly staff. We were upgraded, much to our surprise, and our room and bathroom were very large, the bed extremely comfortable. Hotel offers superb breakfast within room rate: fantastic value for money!   Clean, comfortable and homely apartment, reasonably priced in an otherwise expensive city.   The rooms were reasonably sized. We could keep and open 2 big bags while having enough space to walk. The kitchen was very small but it was fine as we cooked for our kids only. The hotel and rooms were clean. For the price and location, it was a good place. The staff was very courteous and helpful and this place is about 2 tram stops on tram 10 or... vad folk säger » 10 mins walk from Zurich train station. - The Astor is a short tram ride (uphill) from the train station - take #7 towards the zoo and get off at the first stop once the tram turns uphill after crossing the river. The unit we had has a small kitchen that was very handy. The beds are comfortable and the rooms on the back side of the hotel are very quiet. There is a free laundry machine! We absolutely loved our stay here.

  Läget - The room is large and very comfortable. Breakfast very good . The location is great, extremely near the lake, the main station and main shopping street. All is possible by walking distance.
