  Excellent hotel from A-Z. As a frequent traveler i don't get overexcited easily, but this hotel really deserves the max points. The train station is close but nevert - We loved the hotel and the location. The staff was very friendly and unquestionably efficient. The spa was first rate with an amazing pool, Jacuzzi and a northern style sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed this aspect. We made full use of the kitchen facility since we were a couple with 6 (hungry!)college age kids. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen.   Very comfortable beds, clean room, ample sized bathroom. We had a smaller room near the stairs which was convenient but I heard everything.   I've been to quite a few hotels around the world and found Hotel Schweizerhof to be exceptional above the rest. I have never ever been treated so friendly at a hotel and felt like they actually meant it. The food was also excellent. So Excellent service, delicious food, and very friendly cosy atmosphere.   Hotel is ideally located near ski lifts. Staff was friendly and attentive and offers free shuttle service to and from train station. The room was comfortable, quiet, warm and clean and the view left us speechless. Included breakfast offered a good variety of choices, including dried meats, a local specialty. The view is absolutely UNBEATABLE. You are practically on the Matterhorn. The gondola silently glides almost overhead from time to time offering excellent photos. I'm not sure if the view is better from the room or the restaurant/breakfast room.
