  The staff were excellent and welcomed us even when we arrived close to their deadline. Excellent location, a short walk into Ascona where there are lots of restaurants beside Lake Maggiore.   A lovely family run hotel with great views of Lake Maggiore and the Alps. The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful and it was easy to be understood in english if necessary. Breakfasts were superb with views of the lake from the outside terrace. Dining and the wine list were equally excellent and the set menu delivered some superb dishe... vad folk säger » s.   Huge and amazing apartment. We stayed at the garden floor one, the big one. Extremely fun. Wireless works great. The owner doesn't know english at all, so either you know Italian or some other Euro language, or be ready to use Google Translate.   Very comfortable and cosy flats. Very spacious rooms and the kitchen is full of equipment. The heating is great and the host is very friendly. The breakfast is enough. Decoration is amazing.

  Hotel Dischma is a very nice, reasonably priced base for exploring Lugano. An excellent, very extensive breakfast is included in the price.   Mycket trevlig personal och bra frukost. - Hotel had been fully refurbished and was well equipped, excellent decor and very clean. Breakfast was good, which could be taken outside on the verandah. Parking is good - either right outside the hotel or in excellent secure garage about 100m up the road.
