We appreciated that we were able to check into our room early following an overseas flight. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious enough, and there was a fan. Breakfast was the best we had in all the places we stayed in Switzerland.As an American in another country, we found the staff to be VERY helpful ...willing to give us directions to places, etc. The hotel is located in such a way that it is an easy walk to the center of the city.alla recensioner
Try for the sixth floor. The rooms on the top floor are wonderful. The staff was super accomodating with our special dietary needs for breakfast (Vegetarian and Gluten-free). We loved this place!. The most comfortable beds on our trip. We got a spacious room on the corner of the building. Contrary to what others have said it is a short walk to the train station. Very convenient location.It is closed to the station, in the street corner but very quiet. The breakfast is lovely, and of course the room is tidy and big as well.Hotel was excellent however they should provide ceiling mounted fans in place of pedestial fans for better circulation of air. We stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. We had a lovely foom and the service was excellent.Staff members were friendly and helpful. It was only few minutes walk to the center of atractions from the hotel.It was a very nice hotel and our room was quite large. The breakfast was great and it was so clean everywhere.Cleanliness, and in a good position to the old town of Heidelberg and very quiet. It was close enouh to the places of interest that we were able towalk to them.They actually had an ice machine in the hallway. Quiet even for Carnival.staff was very helpful, beds were terrific, excellent breakfast. Yes we stay there thre nights we lie it. Though you can keep the luggage at the reception, but it would be nice if a temp room can be provided for quick refreshment.the brakfast was a bit poor..not too much selsction..vegetables completely unavailable..Perhaps a bit more austere than I had expected but acceptible. The rooms are in a seperate building to the hotel reception: so other guests can be *extremely* noisy without there being any staff around to monitor the noise level. Internet was not free. The light in the bathroom was on a motion dectector, so when either my husband or I used the bathroom at night, the light came on--VERY annoying.Failure to give us the booked wake up call on the last day at 0600, caused a little problem. For the price of CHF20 per person for a breakfest I would expect better food selection. a bit crowded with tour groups, especially for breakfast. No tea/coffee making facilities in room.Desk staff, though efficient and well meaning, are often curt and cold. Questions seem like a bother.the room is too small, the TV is too high that you have to laid down to watch it.Parking is an issue.rooms are clean and proper but may need (style) refurbishment (too "90s").
