Restaurangen Schiff serverar traditionella schweiziska rätter och har tilldelats 13 Gault Millau-poäng. Den har en terrass och en uteservering vid floden. Varje morgon serveras en kontinental frukost.
Schiff Hotel ligger på en gågata precis vid Reussfloden, bara 5 minuters promenad från Lucernes centralstation.

The room and the view was amazing (especially considering the price we paid). The staff was great. We had to check out very very early to catch our train and they made us a special breakfast snack the night before.Friendly staff, excellent location, good rooms and first class food. Location of hotel and size of room. The view over the River Reuss. The hotel was in a fantastic location, right on the river and a 5 minute walk from the station. Was in a picturesque location. The staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast was good, the room was comfortable and clean and also a reasonable size.The staff is very friendly, breakfast is supurb and the old classical hotel is very nice. I could easy stay there days longer. Also the location is perfect.It should be a very historied hotel. Very close to the main train station. The breakfast is good too.Everything about our room, size, decor, view etc and the position of the hotel.The excellent location and reasonable price made this an excellent hotel. .we did not have a view but I liked that Schiff is on the water front with busand food options so close. the proximity to the tourist places and the location. The poor greeting we received on our arrival reflected the standard of the stay.Good location.The long walk (with luggage) from the car, but otherwise being in apedestrian zone was great. The pillows were very uncomfortable, though I found this at all hotels I satyed at in Switzerland, very soft and lumpy.no internet in the rooms, only in the restaurant. The receptionist was behind a closed window and had to open tht each time we handed in key etc, The television only provided one English speaking channel CNN which repeats the same thibng every 15 minutes.I found the room hot,would like a fan as fresh air does not come into the room.The state of the decor eg carpets - filthy, threadbare stairs that stank. The hotel needs a serious update.The lift of the hotel is very insafe as it does not has any gates on the lift cabin. I suffered an accident when one of the strap of my Rugsack got stuck in the lift door and the bag started rising to the cealing as the lift decended. It hit me so badly on my face that I almost lost conciousness. Hard Bed. smell from the kitchen. stuffy room especially if it faces the old town.
