  The owners were wonderful.. We had experienced a travel related problem and the owners were incredibly kind and helpful in helping us resolve all our related problems. They were exceptional. the hotel is delightful, the rooms are small but well equipped and the breakfasts were wonderful. So we enquired before we went and there were no problem accessing to the hotel with the keys placed in counter. Breakfast was great. staff was helpful, room is clean. Very near city center. The street is quiet at night and we slept very well.

  The location was excellent: quiet, but close to the City. And the free tram card made travel everywhere easy. Basel's tram system is excellent. Tram stops in each direction (3 lines I think) just a short walk away. The little patio was cute, but the weather wasn't such that I could use it. Internet worked perfectly. Bed was comfortable. The location was so close to the centre and it was quiet. When you compare the prices for Switzerland the value for money was excellent. The facilities in the apartment were excellent.

  My husband and I stayed only one night. The staff spoke English to us, which we appreciated. The staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We were given excellent instructions to use the tram (our first time on a tram) to get to the old town shopping area. We may not be in Basel again, but do not hesitate to recommend the ibis to fellow - Quiet hotel, really helpful reception staff. Excellent location for transport links. Breakfast is really good and worth paying extra for. Room was spotlessly clean. This hotel is superb value for money, especially given that Switzerland is generally very expensive.

  Great location and very helpful staff with rooms at a reasonable price. The rooms are very clean, uncluttered and comfortable. The location is right by the train station but tucked away on a quiet street so you have the convenience of being near all transportation but without all the noise. The hotel's facilities are all there in abundance despite there being a 'miniature' aspect to the hotel. The breakfast and the bar facilities are friendly with a good atmosphere.   We loved everything about the Euler Hotel Basel, i.e, location, the spacious room, wonderful comfy bed and were most impressed with the bathroom and the luxurious, spacious shower and the lighting in the bathroom.
