You are well looked after, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is always waiting and a tram gets you into the city in 15 mins. - The most cozy hotel I have ever experienced.   This hotel offers excellent value, is in easy reach of the motorway and a lovely walk along the Rhine is only 5 mins away. The staff were helpful and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay.   We always arrive late on a Friday for our weekend trips as we leave after work, and with codes to get in and for getting your room key that was no problem at all. The windows and blinds were also amazing - there was a jazz band playing across the street Friday night but as soon as we closed the window we couldn't hear anything and the blinds kept ... vad folk säger » out all light. - The staff did go above what they tell they'd offer: i.e. checking me in outside of their opening hours because they were there "anyway" and I could leave my luggage with them because the room wasn't ready (I was before check-in time) and because I would return so late, they brought it up to my room. I definitely did not expect this from a "budget hotel"!

  It was a fantastic stay with this Hostel..clean.. lovely food.. quit with excellent scenery out side and great atmosphere inside... The staff at the reception were very helpful and put up well with a panicked traveler. The babbling brook right outside is a very nice touch. Breakfast is good. Nice bread, nice cheeses, yogurt, cereals, coffee is gratis in the morning. Overall, it's a very nice hostel though only a hostel which are generally only as good as the guests who are present.

  The location was extremely convenient -- close to the main train station (SBB Basel) and the University, walking distance from most of what I wanted to see. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating.
