  I would highly reccommend this hostel. I stayed for 5 nights from 30th August 2013. This place is great if you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation, friendly staff (speaking many languages) and a great breakfast. It is located slightly further away from the centre of Lausanne but the number 25 bus stop is only a two minute walk away a... vad folk säger » nd you can be in the city centre within 15 minutes. The complimentary Lausanne Travel Card (valid for 2013 bus and metro travel) was an added bonus wh - Dinners were good and for a good price. Breakfast came with the room. It was a little distant from downtown but we got a bus pass which made it cheap to travel via the public system. The distance to downtown was walkable and enjoyable because it was by the water and in the park with lots of activity, swimming, etc. We took a boat across the lake to Evian France and a train to Geneva from downtown. Be sure to see the Kathedrale Notre-Dame which is right off the metro line.

  All the staff at this hotel were most helpful and friendly. We gotupgraded to a lovely spacious suite which we didnt expect. Greatlocation. In a quiet area not far from the Centre, but walking distanceto old town, restaurants and shops. Was very clean.   Bra frukost och centralt beläget. - Perfect stay. As a chain-hotel, it is exactly what I was looking for -- clean and comfortable, no surprises unlike other "charming" hotels. The rooms are new and well maintained, new beddings + extra pillows, soundproof, hot showers with strong water pressure, free wifi in the rooms, individual temperature (hea... vad folk säger » ting/AC) control. (I didnt have any of the problems regarding heating and internet that other reviews complained about). Location is right on the edge of the old town, in 1-2 minutes you - Staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome.They were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Hotel was very central and good value for money compared with other hotels in the city centre. The level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic with a really good choice of food to eat. Don't be put off by the 2 star rating its as good if not better than many hotels we've stayed in with a higher star rating.

  I would say the best memory of the hotel is the manager- Floriant. He is a very nice and helpful person, ready to assist in questions that arise during the stay in Lausanne/Renens. The rooms look nice and are always clean. TV and Internet work perfect! Hotel is closr to Renens Gare stations, that maked trips to UNIL and Lausanne city center very... vad folk säger » easy and fast. - The staff was very helpful and nice, and the rooms comfortable and nice-looking. The value for money with this hotel is very nice. It is close to EPFL, which was convenient for me.

  I found the staff really helplful. The value for the money was excellent, clean room, good breakfast, free use of internet in the lobby and the location of the hotel was central. - Good signs to find hotel: we drove straight for downtown and saw signs that took us right to the hotel.
