Great Hotel, Very friendly owner always willing to help, for young children a lovely play park in Square opposite with seating and cafe. great area of Spain for outdoors away from beach less than 1 hours drive to ferry in Santander and bilbao.
The owners make everyone feel very welcome, nothing's too much trouble. The rooms are well appointed, everything you need. The breakfasts are ample and they serve drinks in the evening. All in all its very relaxing place.alla recensioner »
The apartment room is wonderful. The size is ample; the kitchenette is great, the lighting was unusually good for a hotel room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard but the coffee was excellent.
Very welcoming attitude,very well restored older Hotel,with all very well furnished and fitted room. The Gotel is also adjacent to a good restaurant,and also a good Bar/Cafe. also owner speak perfest English!.
The restaurant nextdoor La Casa del Patron was excellent.
The Attic Family room was simply perfect, spacious and modern and the kids loved the jacuzzi bath!
We enjoyed the nearby natural park as well.

One side of the bed, mine, was a soft memory foam type of mattress. Probably most people would find this mattress to be a deluxe feature. I couldn't sleep and I woke up in the morning with a stiff and sore back. Please forewarn future customers of this deluxe feature. (I didn't move to the other side because I can only sleep on the left side of a double bed. one might say that I have issues with beds).

Bathrooms might need some refurbishment, but are Still quite ok.
Our room could have done with a better table/desk for working at a laptop computer, checking bookings/emails.

Unfortunately we didn't find any good restaurant in town. You have to drive around 12 km to get nice food then if would like to enjoy glass of wine with your dinner then you have no choice like stick with local restaurant with average service and just ok food :(.
There's only one restaurant nearby which serves great food but is pricey due to lack of completion. One of our party chose pig trotters by mistake and was very dissapointed!.
