1) Very good location with metro and Placa Catalyna nearby. 2) Free coffee in the room (Nespresso). 3) Really clean and neat with a big shower room, nice room design 4) Very good bed (except bedsheets, see disadvantages) 5) Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Always heartly smiling. Super!. Hotel Staff is very helpful and professional. The Location is also very central with very easy access to all transportation. Breakfast was quite good with a very reasonable variety of food. Having an "Espresso Machine" in the room is very convenient too.
alla recensioner » This is an up-market Barcelona hotel, with friendly, helpful staff, clean and elegant minimalistic rooms. A good-quality 4-star hotel, unlike lots of so-called 4-star hotels in Barcelona that should really be rated between 2 and 3 stars. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you. Newly renovated into a lovely boutique hotel. Memory foam mattress on the beds with comfortable pillows. Walk in shower with 2 sprays. Breakfast was great with a good choice. Space in rooms which were fresh and clean. Above all was the friendliness and thoughtfullness of the stall. On arrival on a late hot afternoon we were offered a cool drink even before checking-in.Great central position near subway. Great location! Very modern and cosy hotel in a historical building. Multilingual and helpful personnel. The breakfast was excellent. Although my room was tiny, it was the best choice for the price. The hotel is very new and with smart design. The location is perfect. We booked "A room with a View" The view is the Bus Station on a noisy square!! We could not open the windows. Even though the staff were willing to change our room, but it would have been a much smaller one! Having the bathroom sink inside the room and not in the bathroom is quite in-convenient!. Nothing. Basin in the bedroom. Bar shut at 11.30. Wi-fi connection a little slow but still workeable.Can't think of anything else. The design of the shower cabin is unusual, so the entire floor in the bathroom was always wet every time after I was having a shower. Only one receptionist, had to waited for sometime for check in. The elevator is very noisy. The room is pretty small but with all the things you need anyway. The bathroom is big and smart. - not enough storage space at the bath mirror (like in almost every Hotel!). A woman needs more space for her cosmetics etc. :-) - being close to the Metro means you can just a little bit feel/hear it passing by. The ONLY improvement that could be made, a hook on the bathroom door to hang a bath robe!. Cleanliness of room could have been better, for example the dirty drinking glasses were not replaced for three days. The superior room is very small. I didn't like the fact that the sink was not part of the shower / toilet but in the room itself. The bathroom door is made of partially tinted glass. Not very comfortable experience for me. Hotel cleaning staff were a little reluctant to knock before bursting in which was a little annoying, suspect its a teething problem. No room service, staff service on the rooftop pool, must have thin walls as could hear everything. Very clean hotel excelent location but no arabic chanel. Rooms definitely toooo small they do have larger rooms so when you book take note...the rate obviously is higher but worth it... The other issue there was no one to take luggage to your room.. Pool very small. None. the room is bit small. See through bathroom doors...no point at all and awkward when travelling with a friend. After reconstraction. First few days didn't work Wi-Fi, the pool wasn't ready. small room, room for two is actually a small room for one. The shower leaked a little. But thats really about it. Only if you are very very sensitive with your sleep some times you could fill the metro. Space. transparent WC. Our room was very small, it was not as described on the agents site or hotel site at the time of booking. The description of a terrace was very misleading, it was a small balcony with 2 chairs and did not justify the status of a superior room. Very poor value in comparison to other hotels of this standard. Complaint not dealt with appropriately at the time. Room was so small -with two big 20kg luggage no room to move in the room & no outside window - only window facing atrium in hotel. there's a stock room opposite to our room so staffs are just going in and out all the time and one of the staffs kept on banging the door hardly and talked so loudly, which disturbed us a lot in the early morning. 'Superior' rooms nothing more than a basic with balcony Rooftop bar closed during the day. Rooms are claustrophobicaly small , uncomfortable and unpractical, very very noisy. New hotel and shower flooded already, not very clean ( other peoples hair in bathroom ). Never got the room we booked and paid supplement for.
