Lois is a tiny hotel at the other end of a rather busy pedestrian street with restaurants and bars. The rooms were very clean with white minimalistic decor. We had a small room, but the smart layout made it feel more spacious. The staff seemed to do pretty long shifts, but were super nice all the time and made us feel like home. The hotel pays attention to details especially in the design. The location is perfect placed between the port and the beach, and in the middle where the pubs, restaurants and cafes are located. It was a little too quiet while I was there since I was the only person having breakfast, but this will not be a problem for most. In short, I opted for this over the 4-star options a 20-minute walk away.
We were two young couples and stayed for 1 night. The hotel is completely new. It´s clean, modern and the rooms are perfect, nice bed, flat TV screen, heating and air con, and no noise. The bathrooms were very clean and the staff was lovely. Location, location, location. Right in the center of A Coruña. I would stay there again if I had a chance.
