  Everything was above expectations. The hosts were absolutely gracious and helpful. The room was amazing. The location was convenient. Really, we could not have been happier. (The hosts voluntarily upgraded our room to their best room since it was vacant, but they showed us the room we would have had and it was also lovely. The individual lodges had been carefully and thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the whole place had a lovely atmosphere. And Nora and her beautiful breakfasts were a delight. Unfortunately it rained while we were there but being able to stay at Waterside helped greatly.

  Just spent one night in Mootide (Moondance room) and all my expectations were exceeded. This is a great place where you have a calm lagoon on one side, and a beautiful beach a stones throw away. The owner and staff are all very helpful too and gave us some great advice for our trip down the garden route. If you're looking for a great place to stay... vad folk säger » with a room that breaks the run of the mill then I'd highly recommend this place. I just wish we had more time. - The staff were extremely efficient and friendly especially the Manager - Tim. There was a lovely choice of cooked and buffet breakfasts which could be eaten either in the dining room or out on the deck which overlooked the Touw River. The room we had was quite large and had a well designed bathroom and separate walk in wardrobe. I would recommend this Guest Lodge to all!

  From the moment that we parked the car we were greeted by the friendliest hospitality! Andre walked over the lush gardens inviting us to our room that awaited. We had a self catering unit which had a grand main room and lovely bathroom. Andrew and Mathilda gladly accommodated an extra guest at minimal surcharge and had an extra bed made and ready... vad folk säger » on our arrival. Full DSTV and free wifi available which was great! The breakfast dining hall is light and breezy with a sea view. The breakfasts are - Right on the beach with great rooms and ocean views, lots of places to relax indoors and out and good breakfasts. The hosts could not be more welcoming and helpful. Initially, I stayed for 2 nights and came back after staying just two nights (orginal planned 4 nights) in Plettenberg bay. A truly wonderful and relaxing stay at the Dolphine Dunes.

  We liked the owner. He was very friendly. He gave us great tip where to eat. Info about the country etc.The rooms were perfect. The beds were great.The place was spotless. We would go back any time.Downstairs rooms have a terrass with great garden.
