  Wendy is a faboulous host. She is born to be a landlady. From the welcome to the farewell she was always available for suggestions, ideas, destinations to vist and most of all present during breakfast.   Albert and Tersia, ( the owners ), were fantastic in their ability to make you feel at ease and comfortable after a long journey. The guest house is superbly clean, the rooms are extremely well kept & the staff are friendly and polite. Breakfast is as much as you want and very good.   The view from the pool deck was just fabulous. Sugarbird was cosy but I would imagine nice in the heat of summer too. The fire place was lovely as was the open communal area. I loved the inner courtyard and interior design of the refurbished house, very nicely done.   The facilities and rooms are superb. The eco-pool is a nice feature, something different. It is about a 15 minute drive to town but staying in a secluded setting is worthwhile.   After a day on the road coming to the "Vineyard" is like paradise. We were upgraded to the garden suite at no further cost and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Literally 10 minute drive from Stellenbosch and 3 minutes away from Somerset West this is a good location for outings - or just to relax in the lovely garden and on the spacious pool. A really... vad folk säger » good choice to stay. Garden and House are well cared for and could be just out of "House & Garden". Our host Teresa is a happy recipient of your - Outstanding. Theresa and Coete are utterly charming hosts: they gave me medicine and helped nurse me when I had sunstroke, gave my wife a blanket to keep her warm at the rugby and lent us their gps to get there. Beautiful accommodation, really comfy bed and option to dine on site. More like staying with friends than a B&B.
