  Great location for us. We only stayed one night to visiti the Cango caves as well as the Ostrich farms. The restaurant restaurant next to the guesthouse was excellent and ou host did reserve a table for us to make sure we would be on the terrace. The Guesthouse is very clean and is well equipped. Enjoyed our stay, was too short. - I liked the personal welcome of Hew and Zoe, I already sipped a beer before we started the paperwork! Both hosts have a very interesting business background and are the perfect conversation partners. They also gave me the valuable hint to go to the Buffelsdrift Lodge for a sunset drink, which was an outstanding experience. Rooms are cosy and very clean.

  I was totally blown away by the personal attention shown by Maggie in making sure my stay was hassle free and enjoyable. The accommodation, facilities and location of the unit was incredible and in saying that it is not often the case where what is shown on a website does no justice to what is actually experienced. No doubt I will be returning and... vad folk säger » placing Maggie's spot on my priority list be it for business or leisure. - Due to a unforseen circumstances we had to change our holiday plans very last-minute. We booked Vrede and arrived only hours later. We couldn't have picked a better place! The appartment is, as the name says, Deluxe, the view is spectacular and Maggie and her team are nothing but very very kind, helpfull and understanding. Despite our circumstances, Vrede 62 made the best of our week. Thanks again Maggie & William!

  We loved this guesthouse! It is a little bit remote, but worth it! It's situated in a safety area, there is a securitygate at the entrance, and the sea is nearby. All the rooms have a very nice seaview. The first thing I saw when I wake up, was the ocean! The owners were very hospitality and proud to have this beautifull guesthouse. They have plenty of choice, this - the oyster catcher lodge was beyond our expectations. We travel to many holiday destinations in and out of south africa and we have never had such luxury and ambience at any destination befor. We had the honeymoon suite which was out of this world as the sea was almost in the bedroom. Def be going back

  Every thing was beautiful. The lodge, the views, the staff. Even the unbaved 3km road was part of the adventure. We stayed 5 nights (family with children) and all had peace of mind. - The location is magnificent with the lights of Capetown and table mountain at your feet!

The house was lovely and the garden was beautiful with two swimming pools and lots of nooks and crannies to sit in peace. Our room was huge with a spacious bathroom and a great four poster bed you had to climb up into. Wolfgang did the best breakfasts we had in South Africa - not only was the food very tasty but it was all beautifully presented. The two dogs were very friendly and Christina and Wolfgang were the perfect hosts.

  The facilities and rooms are superb. The eco-pool is a nice feature, something different. It is about a 15 minute drive to town but staying in a secluded setting is worthwhile.   We stayed in Aquavit for 2 nights and we really enjoyed it. The guesthouse is beautiful, clean and modern. The breakfast is worth dying for! Delicious! We found the owners, Linda and Ole very funny and we had a good laugh about the "house rules" regarding E.G. smoking, washing and Skype policy. We took it easy but still, it brought us the feeling ... vad folk säger » of being at parents place ;-) - Fabulous guest house decorated and finished to the highest standard with two of the lovliest hosts you can imagine, alongside a professional and welcoming staff. Magnificent breakfasts and the wine cellar at yoir diaposal is equally impressive. The pool is great with views put across to plettenberg bay.
