  Absolutely perfect location. Best location in Waterfront - set slightly above waterfront so has stunning views and feels like a preaceful haven, but is only a 2 minute walk down to all the action. The hotel itself is lovely with beautifully designed bedrooms and gorgeous grounds.   Really nice hospitality. Nice people and a marvellous garden, with swimming pool. The breakfast fast just tremendous. - Owners very friendly and helpful, breakfast superb, setting in countryside really beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay.

  We spent 3 nights at the hotel during our holiday touring the garden route. Everything was fabulous with attention to detail all the way. The hosts, Desmond and Johann were very friendly and welcoming with great personal service.We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definate chose it again when we are back in the area.   The kindness and help,support of ALL staff. Absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed at including all other " One & Only". we really liked it !!!   A hotel like a garden of relaxation right at the bottom of Cape Town's stunning table mountain. The hotel is very charming with a big garden to wander around and a good pool area. The gym and Spa are very good. All rounded up by a good offer of food with the Myogo restaurant as a high end option with an excellent value for money 7-dish course. The... vad folk säger » service in the whole hotel is very good with some typical South African attributes of "everybody wants to helps" which sometimes leads to confusing i - I have stay at this hotel each year for a week for business. I noticed this time that the same staff are still working there. I think this says a lot about staff turnover. The staff are very positive always happy to hep, nothing is ever to hard. I had an issue with a pick up being late and it was dealt with quickly and the transport manager was waiting for me to apologise for the error. This hotel is a beautiful place and when you are here you are treated as family, a pleasure staying

  I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost of some competitors. The city location is vibrant and interesting.   This was probably the best service i found in South Africa. You could compare with a service in Europe. The food was divine and you don't need to be Hungry to eat this lovely food...The garden was magical and surprising for 25 min from town...no need to go to Franschoek or Stallenbosch.
