  The staff was exceptional and the place is absolutely stunning. Apart from the bathroom the rooms are cosy and comfortable (and well equipped). The atmosphere is relaxed which we enjoyed very much.   Very helpful owners who helped me to plan activities the next few days of my trip. I a only passing through I found everyone to be very welcoming, and it was a very relaxing place to spend an evening after a long day on huge road.

  The reception on our arrival was friendly and helpful. Over the last four years we have stayed at several B&Bs, Hotels/Guest Houses in South Africa and the De Hoek rates as one of our best and most enjoyable places. The room was clean and comfortable, well furnished and with a superb bathroom. It had good air conditioning, tv and WiFi. Breakfa... vad folk säger » sts were cooked to order, were delicious and generous and little touches of fresh herbs or roses as table decorations showed how much care went into l - The personal touches were very nice (e.g., turn-down service that included port). Check-in was incredibly efficient -- we were in our room within about 45 seconds. The location in downtown Stellenbosch is fantastic -- across the street from a beautiful church and just one block from dozens of cafes and restaurants. And, of course, it's convenient to tons of wineries. Breakfast was served promptly, was delicious, and included everything one could want. This is a great guest house.

  The owners and staff of this Guest House made us very welcome. The room was furnished to a high standard and all the facilities were immaculately maintained. The breakfast was first class and the pool and garden area was perfect to sit and relax in after a busy day sightseeing.   Absolutely everything was wonderful. We received a warm welcome from owner Annemarie. She also recommended restaurants and offered information about surrounding areas. We were upgraded to the Honeymoon suite at the same rate and the decor is unbelievably beautiful and elegant (all the rooms).
