  Very modern hotel. Beautiful bedroom with ultra modern bathroom and fantastic view of table mountain from enormous room window. Lovely breakfast and extremely attentive and helpful staff. - Liked the reception lay out and rooms' lay out.The position to major attractions in the city.

  The kindness and help,support of ALL staff. Absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed at including all other " One & Only". we really liked it !!!   The resort offered multiple options for us. It was almost 1 third cheaper than a number of boutique hotels that we had stayed in along the Garden route, and was great value for money.   This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. It was also situated near to the cental area. We arrived early and they looked after our luggage until the room was ready. The room was clean and had all the facilities you would expect. The rooms and service is very good. The location of the hotel is good and the use of the free shuttle to the Vand A water front is very useful. If you get a good rate this is the hotel to stay in.

  I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost of some competitors. The city location is vibrant and interesting.   We spent 3 nights at the hotel during our holiday touring the garden route. Everything was fabulous with attention to detail all the way. The hosts, Desmond and Johann were very friendly and welcoming with great personal service.We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definate chose it again when we are back in the area.
