  Great place to stay! We were welcomed very friendly, the guesthouse is on a beautifull orange farm, everything well organised and clean. We had a very nice diner and breakfast. The staff aranged a great game drive for us in de Addo park with Crisscross Adventures which was one of the highlights of our trip. The location was just far enough out of town to feel like one was in the country side but close enough for it not to be an arduous drive to move in and out for business meetings. - Quiet, cosy and very comfortable.   We loved staying in the rondavels! The whole setting of the property is very pretty. We wished we could have stayed for more than one night! The gentleman who owns the property is very nice - I left something behind accidentally and he even mailed it back to me. The restaurant next door is FANTASTIC too. We were self catering and there is a very well equipped kitchen in the main house together with lounge area and plenty of seating. Very good restaurant adjacent, too.   Breakfast was excellent! Host was welcoming and very helpful. Rooms were clean - bathrooms large and airy.   wonderful views, you don't even have to get up from your bed to see the sunrise! the sound of the sea is equally amazing. friendly staff (we received a complimentary upgrade to a larger apartment) great value for money - A beautiful spot right on the beach. Rooms are clean and of high standard. We will be back for a longer stay next time.

  What other reviewer say and Brian and family is true. They treat you like old friends from the moment you walk in the door. Nothing is too much trouble and they have a great knowledge of the local area. I arrived after an 8 hour drive from Bloemfontein at 1030pm and I was greeted with a meal and a cold beer. I do not even get that level of service... vad folk säger » in a five star hotel! They were happy to arrange activities, give advice etc. Nice and quiet - I always got a good nights sleep. Definitely stay here - Jenny, Brian and Andrew were absolutely wonderful hosts in this family-run field experience. Just marvellous. It's a pity we had just 2 nights with them. The location is excellent for access to the surrounding area, which is full of fascinating phenomena.

  The guest rooms have the wow factor - thatched high ceilings, loads of space, outside shower as well as an indoor one, lounge space. Evening meals fine. The lodge is perfectly placed -just 5 minutes drive from the south gate. It's possible to go in at 0700, do a couple of the circuits, then return to the lodge for a late breakfast, before going ba... vad folk säger » ck into the park for the day. If you're going to Addo this place is ideal and the hosts Isabelle and Christoff are most obliging - Isabelle and Christophe were the most brilliant hosts and ran the hotel in a lovely relaxed manner. The room was wonderful and the outdoor shower enchanting. It was a brilliant place to stay for the Addo Elephant Park just 10 minutes drive from the gates. I would definitely stay there again. The food was very good, the room clean and very comfortable.
