The friendliness and assistance offered throughout, but especially at book in. Concierge assited me in getting directions to an old-boys club and was very helpful. Security in the parking garage was always there, no matter what time we came in. It was close to the embassies - as this is exactly what I needed. The bed was very comfortable - and the Hotel quiet at night - which is surprising due to the vibrant night life around it. Great value for money!.

The location. It is accessible via all forms of transportation available. It is within walking distance of attractions and business centres. It is quiet at night allowing for total relaxation or productive work. Right in the centre of Hatfield. Restaurants right outside of the hotel. Very close to Hatfield square for the young adults to go to. Security very good. Felt very safe staying at this hotel. Friendly and efficient staff to welcome you. The hotel was neat and tidy, and I would definitely stay at this "value for money" hotel again. Close access to Hatfield Gautrain Station. Great staff, good service, nice room with good value for money.Good location, it is opposite to the main hatifield supermarket, is about 600 metres from the Gautrain metro station. then place is very quiate and cleanes the welcoming on the big screen it was amazing i love everything and i have enjoyed each second for been there. keep up the good work!!!!!. Next to Hetfield square (lots of clubs, bars) and near to Gauteng Station. There is a plaza opposite the hotel. Protea hotel is situated at a very convenient place. It is easily accessible without any difficulty. I realy like Hatfield, so the alloacation is perfect and the parking facility is superb. I forgot my phone in the room when we checked out, and thought that it was going to be gone when I realised about an hour later that I left it there. But due to the excellent staff at Protea Hotel Hatfield, I returned to the hotel and my phone was returned to me. This really impressed me and I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Apart from the fact that on the first night the bath shower didn't work properly the stay was very good. The shower was replaced the next day. n/a. No complaint enjoyed my stay. My girlfriend has left her high heels in the room and we've had to call them twice and waited till the next day until they got back to us. Parking is very limited. The level of noise around the hotel was unbearable with very loud music. the mat in the rooms(smoking ) some how leave the room smelling bad. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. The chef did not know how to prepare a medium egg and he did not use clean utensils after preparing a chilli omelette. Small rooms. Too short a stay to notice anything. Busy street at the main reception, was a challange to drive in and out of the parking. They don't have a room service for food!. Bed not made upon arrival and confusion about breakfast payment and discount. We found cockroaches in the shower. Squeaky bed. the staff was friendly but sometimes slow, they also knock on the door at 9.30 am to clean the room, thus waking you up when you want to sleep out. small dining place a bit over crowded. the guests opposite started a party both nights , first night at 1.30 am and the second at 3.45 am. security were called the second time. breakfast space during many guests. Staff need to be informed more about how and when discounts should be offered to clients so to apply them correctly. Liked everthing. Noisy. taking photocopy of my ID and credit card, I did not feel confortable and I felt exposed.Parking sign is not clear, I saw a lot people entering the wrong parking including myself. Bathroom having no door but a curtain. Reception staff I did not get the free wifi. pool was a bit too small. The tv remote complicated and couldn't work. I have seen better restaurants, needs pest control, I sow cockroaches on the Bathroom, they come out at night in the shower drainage. When we got there our rooms were occupied, we had to be relocated to another hotel and return on the next day. Room had nasty smell and extractor fan was very noisy.
