  This was our second superb visit to 7 Church Street, and we stayed for longer this time. Mike & May are fantastic hosts and are so friendly & helpful. Before our arrival, May emailed us full details of the area and the best scenic route to take to get to Montagu. During our stay, Mike & May gave us several recommendations for restauran... vad folk säger » ts, walks, sightseeing, wine tasting etc., all of which were excellent. Dinner at Jessica's is a must; the chef is highly talented. Montagu itself is - Extremely hospitable and entertaining hosts in a lovely setting with some glorious artworks on the walls! The breakfast was superb with Mike creating montages with the fruit. We will definitely be back.

  Enjoyed this small guesthouse on the edge of Montagu and the hosts were most helpful in ensuring our stay was memorable. They checked the time of our reservation for dinner and breakfast was very good and served outside under some vines. - Lovely historic house in beautiful countryside.   The B&B is in the middle of the village in an old house just across the church and within walking distance to most of the restaurants. If you love a modern room you will not feel comfortable. We felt very welcomed, although we only booked two hours prior to our arrival. The host gave us some tips for restaurants nearby. - This lovely old home with high pressed ceilings and a lovey view of the mountains and church was right in the middle of town. We could walk everywhere and the advice on places to visit from our very friendly hosts was great. The breakfast was also very good and set us up for a day of touring.

  Comfortable accommodation and welcoming staff who were keen to see that you enjoyed your stay. Hotel management arranged for us to barbeque during our stay and provided at reasonable cost all the necessary ingrediants including lighting the barbeque and cleaning up - a welcome change from eating out. Ursula and Campbell were the perfect hosts; nothing was too much trouble. We even had our car washed before we left.   Loved the welcome we received, the rooms were extremely comfortable and one of the two we booked had a view of the mountains. Stayed in a thatched roof lodge with high ceiling and big fan to keep things cool. Excellent breakfast and very thoughtfully prepared.   Our Belgian hosts did their best to help us to have a good time and to plan our onward trip. They gave lots of good advice. Rooms were the best we had on our trip so far. They were nicely decorated with a combination of African artifacts and many items in earth tone colors.   We like the friendliness of the owners. We were met and welcomed by Carina who made us feel at home. We were shown to the cottage which was very clean. Carina explained what the facilities the cottage had. It was a two bedroom and it had entertainment for the children. They could use the wi-fi facility of the establishment which the enjoyed. We were really surprised to find a decanter of cherry as well - Carina is a wonderful, friendly host who has achieved the right balance of being there when you need her whilst giving you the space to relax. The one bed unit was superb with high spec kitchen, comfy sofa and lovely large bed with en-suite. There was a bottle of wine and milk waiting for us and when my partner expressed a desire for beer, one appeared as if by magic! Is Carina really a fairy godmother??

  Very well-priced accommodation with quite a bit of space (except the kitchen - as there is no living room table we were eating like in a bar, in a row in the kitchen). The owner gave us good advice on what to do and where to find things. We stayed 2 nights and spent the day in the nearby Montagu hot springs which was perfect for our kids.
