  I will not recommend this place because I hate the idea that it will atready be fully booked when I try to book it at my next visit to Cape Town. Stay away!   The setting overlooking Table Bay and the Waterfront, the sunsets and sunrises (if the weather be good!!). The welcome from the staff even though we were late arrivals.   Everything about this guesthouse is wonderful. Joe and Marius, the owners, are incredibly accommodating. They will stop by breakfast every morning, tell you about the weather, and recommend things to do. Breakfast is wonderful and personalized to your wants. The room we stayed in was lovely and had every amenity we needed. Though it was too c - I stayed at Mountview for 6 nights and my experience was very positive. Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone. Also staying at Sea Point (quite neighborhood in a shadow of hill and 5 minute walk to the ocean breath) was exactly what I was looking for in this

  Blackheath Lodge provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere akin to being at home! It is pleasantly designed around a small, but extremely well cared for and pretty pool area. The breakfast choice is good - English or continental tea/coffee/biscuits are always available. The rooms are attractive and very clean. W - This was a delightful place to stay in a lovely tastefully furnished Victorian Lodge. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much to ask during our 4 day stay. The rooms were very comfortable with an excellent shower. Thank you to all the team that work there for making our stay so enjoyable!

  Very good price/quality. owner very nice, ready to help. very good breakfast - Nicely run with friendly owners. Very helpful and knowledgable about the local area. Rooms were very clean with the convenience of your own entrance to rooms to enable you to come and go as you please. I would not hesitate to return or recommend to a friend.

The rooms are clean, well-ventilated, have aircon, and are well laid out particular if you want to do some work.   The staff made us feel like we were at home as soon as we got there. The breakfast was very good and a great way to start the day.It was very clean and well kept. The internet worked just fine for us. It is a little hike from long street and the water fronts but taxis are cheap or be adventurus and take the mini buses that the local folks take ... vad folk säger » which we did that are great and very very cheap. It was hard to leave. - Very comfortable, well located. It combines a quiet, "off the beaten path" location with a hotel that was within walking distance of all the best of Cape Town. Very helpful front desk with fantastic assistance in all things. A really great hotel and well worth the price.

  Ett litet Guest House med bra läge, gångavstånd 15 min. till Waterfront. Mycket trevlig personal; fantastiskt rum (nr. 2). Rum nr. 1 Bröllopssvit var som ett 5-stjärnigt rum i Sverige. Går även att få tvätten omhändertagen till en ringa penning. Kommer att ligga 5 min. från nya fotbollsstadion för VM2010. - Bra kontakt med de lokala guiderna och i... vad folk säger » nformation om aktiviteter. Vi fick bra pris på att hyra en scooter och hotellet ligger centralt och bra placerad i ett lugnt och tryggt område i Kapstaden. Frukosten var också jättebra.
