Room: The whole premise is very modern and extremely spacious. We were in room number 10 with partial sea view and our room had a sitting area with coffee/tea making facilities and fresh fruit and a large TV. The bedroom area had an enormous bed, big cupboards, and

52 De Wet is an amazing boutique hotel nested in a cul-de-sac uphill Bantry Bay. The room we stayed in was HUGE (Penthouse), with ample space, comfortble bed, two spacious walk-in closets, luxurious bathroom (bathtub with seaview was great). Giant balcony, beautiful design furniture, friendly and helpful staff/mngrs/owners (we even borrowed the front desk laptop for a few hours to make wire transfers for our next destination). before . The apartment was spacious and neat . Lovely view . Even had a
turn down service in the evening , which was unexpected for a self

We also received water and chocolates each night which was a great touch!

The backpack was a really comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The common areas were laid back & relaxed and the place was very clean. Location was great & just a short walk from the top of Long Street and some good restaurants. Waterfront was a decent walk or a fairly quick taxi ride. We stayed here based in recomendations & were

It was my second time at this hostel and I came back three years later because I liked it. Apart from it being excellent for what is officially a backpackers place I really appreciate the attitude of owners and staff who are supporting community projects and take recycling seriously, something that is still not very wide spread in South Africa. Excellent Sandwiches and breakfast.
